The Men’s Shed movement is expanding across the Grey-Bruce region, with chapters in Ferndale, Wiarton, Owen Sound, and Saugeen Shores, to combat social isolation through shared “shoulder-to-shoulder” activities. The groups, which are part of an international initiative, provide a space for retired men to socialize and connect to others through shared interests, hands on activities and outings.
